In order to restore your data, you should have a previously saved backup. If you need advice on how to create your backup please follow the tutorial available from BlackBerry. Once you have your backup, you can restore it to a BlackBerry phone by following these steps:
If your BlackBerry smartphone includes built-in media storage, mass storage mode must be turned on.
Connect the device to your computer.
Open the BlackBerry Desktop Manager and click Device > Restore.
Select the backup file that you want to use to restore your data.
Click All device data and settings.
If your smartphone includes built-in media storage, select the Files saved on my built-in media storage checkbox in order to restore all the data.
If the backup file is encrypted, type the password that you set to encrypt and click Restore.

I installed the new Blackberry Desktop Manager version 6 but when I start it I get a don't send error. And one thing, the version 5 of BDM works very well only the v6 is giving me problems.

Try to update your computer using Windows update then you can try uninstalling the application and then installing it again. This should fix it.

BlackBerry Desktop Manager use CSV to export plain text information. You can open the backed up files into Word or Excel then you can use the built-in Print function to print the SMS messages.
The address book saved through BlackBerry Desktop Manager is in CSV format. This means that you can use Notepad or any other compatible text editor to open the file. It's, however, recommended to open this file in a compatible Excel application in order to have the data arranged for easy readability.
Install BlackBerry Desktop manager and connect the phone through the USB the cable to PC. Start the application and click on Media Manager. On the phone turn on Mass Storage Mode from: Options -> Memory -> Mass Storage Mode then you will be able to transfer the pictures from phone to PC and vice versa.

If you cannot remove the software by classical way from Control Panel, you can try using a third party tool to forcedly remove all its trace from your computer. For this you can use Revo Uninstaller or CCleaner. Also, you can use AdwCleaner to make sure that there are no leftover rogue registry keys or toolbars in your system. This should fix your problem.
What about this and why it doesn't seem that BB is proposing any patch about that unsolving problem. I've been looking on various forums and all seem to advise to uninstall completely BB Desktop Manager, to reinstall this one and not accept the Roxio Media Manager application. I've done the unistall and reinstall already, completely. I didn't try the same not accepting Roxio Media Manager. Should I do this like that or do you propose any other operational solution? Thanks for your answer.

I struggled with it (Roxio MM) for two years, it destroyed my CD/DVD drive, and the best advice is to completely uninstall it. I use Windows Media Player to transfer all my media files.
